However, with the beginning of Imam Ali’s caliphate and his practical commitment to the Quran and the Prophet’s Sunnah, this issue was revived again. A review of the Imam’s performance in his short period of caliphate and a case study of the battle of Camel on the basis of the oldest historical texts shows this fact. Accordingly, the present study’s question is as follows: “What historical documents exist regarding Imam Ali’s performance in the events surrounding the battle of Camel through which one can confirm Imam’s attention to preserving the solidarity of Islamic society and the Muslims’ unity with a peace-centered approach?” The result of this descriptive-analytical study is that the Imam, in order to prevent schism in the society, used a peace-centered approach to prevent the instigation from turning into a war, while clarifying the conditions for the people and sending envoys to the instigators. He also attempted, after the end of the battle, to avoid violence and have a religion-based behavior with the remainders of the battle, and to have no compromise as to the affairs of the Islamic society (e.g. choosing the rulers) and wrote letters describing the events for the people of Kufa and Medina to preserve the solidarity of the Islamic society and the Muslims’ unity. <strong>حفظ اتحاد و صلح­طلبی؛</strong> <strong>محور </strong><strong>عملکرد امام علی</strong>7<strong>در رخدادهای پیرامون جنگ جمل</strong> <strong> </strong> <strong>لیلا نجفیان رضوی</strong> / استادیار گروه تاریخ دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد / najafian@um.ac.ir تاریخ وصول: 01/02/1399 / تاریخ تصویب نهایی: 02/05/1399 <strong>چکیده</strong> با رحلت رسول خدا9، توجه به رویکرد صلح­محورِ آن حضرت به منظور حفظ انسجام جامعة اسلامی و اتحاد مسلمانان کم‌تر شد. اما با شروع خلافت امیرالمؤمنین7 و التزام عملی ایشان به قرآن و سنت پیامبر9، توجه به این امر نیز رنگی تازه به خود گرفت. مروری بر عملکرد امام7 در دوران کوتاه خلافت ایشان و مطالعة موردی جنگ جمل، بر پایة کهن‌ترین متون تاریخی، براین امر گواه است. بر این ­اساس، پرسش پژوهش حاضر آن است که چه مستندات تاریخی‌ای از نحوة عملکرد امام علی7 در وقایع پیرامون جنگ جمل وجود دارند که با بهره‌گیری از آن‌ها بتوان بر توجه آن حضرت به حفظ انسجام جامعة اسلامی و اتحاد مسلمانان با رویکردی صلح­محور صحه ­گذارد؟ نتیجة این پژوهش توصیفی - تحلیلی، آن است که ایشان با محوریت جلوگیری از ایجاد افتراق در جامعه، ضمن شفاف‌سازی اوضاع برای مردم و فرستادن نمایندگانی نزد فتنه‌انگیزان، با رویکردی صلح‌طلب کوشیدند تا از منتهی­ شدن فتنه به جنگ جلوگیری نمایند. همان‌طورکه پس از اتمام نبرد، با پرهیز از خشونت و رفتار دین­محور با بازماندگان، عدم‌مماشات در امور جامعة اسلامی (انتخاب حکم‌ران) و نوشتن نامه و تشریح وقایع برای مردم کوفه و مدینه، در حفظ انسجام جامعة اسلامی و اتحاد مسلمانان کوششی حداکثری داشتند. https://www.shiitestudies.com/article_46556_23f5a21549eceda2a6adacf50172e799.pdf
