This feature, originated from the Quranic verses and the traditions, has affected all the elements and kingpins of the science in the realm of the Islamic civilization. Variety of educational environments, ease of the formation of educational environment, placement of the schools in the crowded parts of the cities such as bazaar and access to scholars are among the consequences of this feature of science. The religious scholars’ attention to the society’s needs and making their scientific reservoir in accordance with social behavior in their own arrangements with people and the elite groups and the authorities or even accepting political positions by them can all be put in this framework. Scientism of the Shiite jurists in the 7</span>^th<span style="font-size: 10px;"> and 8</span>^th<span style="font-size: 10px;"> centuries in the territories of Iraq and Iran shows that those jurists have followed populism in domains such as conventionality in issuing fatwas, paying attention to the wishes of the Shiites in various regions, paying heed to the scientific wants of the non-Muslims, writing suffrages, and writing biographies of martyrs.</span>   یکی از ویژگی‌های مهم علم در اندیشه اسلامی، سودمندی آن است. این ویژگی که از آیات و روایات سرچشمه می‌گیرد، همه ارکان و اجزای نهاد علم در گستره تمدن اسلامی را از خود متأثر ساخته است. تنوع محیط‌های آموزشی، آسان بودن شکل‌گیری فضای آموزش، قرار گرفتن مدارس در مراکز پرجمعیت شهر مانند بازار و در دست‌رس بودن عالمان، از جمله پیامدهای این ویژگی علم به شمار می‌رود. اهتمام عالمان دینی به نیازهای جامعه و هم‌سو قرار دادن اندوخته علمی‌شان با رفتار اجتماعی‌ در مناسبات خود با مردم و گروه نخبگان و صاحبان قدرت و یا حتی پذیرش مناصب سیاسی توسط ایشان را نیز می‌توان در همین چارچوب قرار داد. علم‌ورزی فقیهان شیعه در سده‌های هفتم و هشتم هجری در قلمرو ایران و عراق، نشان‌دهنده آن است که این فقیهان، مردم‌گرایی را در عرصه‌هایی مانند عرف‌گرایی در صدور فتوا، توجه به خواسته‌های شیعیان مناطق مختلف، توجه به خواسته‌های علمی غیرمسلمانان، ادعیه‌نگاری، و مقتل‌نگاری دنبال کرده‌اند. https://www.shiitestudies.com/article_43494_1d83672fb9b3ff6aa2179a20fbf8a355.pdf
