In that political struggle (i.e. Saqifa), Ali bin Abi Talib was ignored and, afterwards, other Imams were not much directly present, if at all, in the political and governmental sphere, except for the presence of Imam Ali and Imam Hassan as caliphs and Imam Reza’s presence as vicegerent or crown prince. The swing of Imams’ entering the sphere of political power and their withdrawal had numerous reasons, among them one can refer to the violent governance and behavior of the ruling power, Imams’ approach to the political power and the government as well as explaining it in its subject matter and its creed. Meanwhile, the sphere of social power was open to them and spread before them. The social power was the best channel through which Imams could rightly explain the religious thought in theory and practice. The present study attempts to answer the question of “how was the Imams’ approach and performance in the two spheres of political and social power?” and investigates it assuming that the power was a subject matter and creed for Imams. In this regard, to explain the study better, we have used the political sociology and political sciences, including Parsons’ theory on political and social power to theoretically explore the issue.   رخداد سقیفه پس از رحلت پیامبر، نقطه آغازی در شکل­گیری مناسبات جدید قدرت سیاسی در بستر سنتی جامعه دینی آن دوره بود که علی­بن ابی‌طالب، در آن کارزار سیاسی نادیده گرفته شد و پس از آن دیگر ائمه:در عرصه قدرت سیاسی و حکومت، به‌طور مستقیم و به جز حضور امام علی و امام حسن در خلافت و امام رضا در ولایت‌عهدی، حضور و ظهور کم‌تری داشته یا اصلاً نداشتند. نوسان ورود و کناره­ گیری ائمه: به عرصه قدرت سیاسی، علل متعددی داشت که از جمله آن‌ها، می­توان به حکم‌رانی و رفتار خشونت­آمیز قدرت حاکم، رویکرد ائمه: به قدرت سیاسی و حکومت و تبیین آن در موضوعیت و طریقیتش اشاره کرد. در این بین عرصه قدرت اجتماعی برایشان باز و گسترده بود. قدرت اجتماعی، بهترین کانالی بود که ائمه: می‌توانستند از آن برای تبیین درست اندیشه دینی در نظر و عمل، استفاده کنند. پژوهش حاضر در تلاش است این سؤال را که رویکرد و عملکرد ائمه: در دو عرصه قدرت سیاسی و اجتماعی چگونه بوده است و با فرضیه موضوعیت و طریقیت داشتن قدرت در دیدگاه ائمه: بررسی کند. در این زمینه، برای توضیح و تبیین بهتر پژوهش، از نظریه‌های جامعه‌شناسی سیاسی و علوم سیاسی از جمله نظریه پارسونز در زمینه قدرت سیاسی و اجتماعی، در قالب واکاوی نظری استفاده شده است. https://www.shiitestudies.com/article_38392_420d174d96d5cc6642bc8c1e765074b2.pdf
