However, if this spirituality gets far from its main source and origin, finding a strong link between it and religion would be difficult. Ashura incident is the manifestation of a strategic model for reviving the spiritual values of Islam. However, with diffusion of distortion and opposition to rationality in many historiographies of martyrs after the 8th century, especially under the Qajar, writing such historiographies turned into a crisis- making factor in the sphere of the Shiite spirituality in the contemporary era. This study aims at studying the concept of distortions of Ashura as one of the most important reasons for creation of crisis of the Shiite spirituality in the contemporary era. The present study attempts to use a descriptive-analytical method and relies on library sources to answer the following question: "What is the effect of contemporary historiographies of martyrs – including Tadhkirat al-Shuhadā written by Mulla Habibi Kashani – on the crisis of the Shiite spirituality in the modern world?" The findings of the study show that the quasi-spiritual ideas such as distortions, wrong analyses and spread of false undocumented matters regarding the events related to Ashura incident has led to the weakness and decline of the Shiite spirituality in the contemporary world.  معنویت به عنوان نیاز فطری و مسئله مورد توجه بشر، یکی از کارکردهای شریعت است که به زندگی انسان معنا می‌بخشد، اما اگر این معنویت از منبع و مستند اصلی‌اش دور بیفتد، یافتن پیوندی استوار بین آن و دین دشوار خواهد بود. واقعه عاشورا تبلور یک الگوی راهبردی برای احیای ارزش‌های معنوی اسلام است اما با ظهور شبه‌‏معنویت‌ها، اشاعة فرهنگ تحریف و تقابل با عقلانیت در بسیاری مقاتل پس از قرن هشتم هجری، بالاخص در دوره قاجار؛ مقتل‌نگاری به یکی از عوامل بحران‌ساز در حوزه معنویت شیعی دوران معاصر مبدّل شده است. تبدیل گفتمان عقلانی عاشورا به گفتمان اسطوره‌ای و احساسی، و رهیافت گزارش‌های غیر معتبر به مقتل‌نگاری‌ها که با فلسفه قیام کربلا متعارض می‌باشند، عزاداری سیدالشهداء7 را از اهداف اساسی خود دور نموده است، و از رهگذر سازه‌هایی نظیر اتهام غیر عقلانی بودن به تشیع، معنویت شیعی را در نشیب بحران قرار داده است. بر این اساس، در پژوهش حاضر سعی شده با روش توصیفی - تحلیلی و با تکیه بر پژوهش کتابخانه‌ای به این پرسش پاسخ داده شود که مقاتل معاصر، بالاخص مقتل تذکرةالشهداء نگاشتة ملا حبیب‌الله کاشانی، چه تأثیری بر مقولة بحران معنویت شیعی در جهان معاصر داشته است؟ یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد قرائت تاریخی از عاشورا، دستخوش احساسات، داستان‌سرایی‌ها و اسطوره‌پردازی‌ها شده، و فرهنگ عاشورا به صورت غیرمردمی و غیرمعتدل؛ نمود یافته است. برآیند این امر، ناکارآمدی مؤلفة الگوسازی و الگودهی نهضت عاشورا و در نتیجه، اختلال در جریان پیشرفت گفتمان شیعی با محوریت ولایت، که از رهگذر قیام عاشورا صورت می‌پذیرد، شده است. https://www.shiitestudies.com/article_253997_e5c817f690d01f4d281121b59ee92bcc.pdf
