The main question of the study is as follows: “what is the reason for Shiite-phobia and what are the ways to confront it?” to answer the question, the present study was conducted in a descriptive explanatory way. Based on the findings, the enemy’s Shiite-phobia started with Islamic revolution of Iran; and the reasons are as follows: the Shiite’s rich and dynamic culture, the Shiite’s geo-politic situation, the Shiite’s God-centrism thought as opposed to the Western humanitarianism, the Shiites’ victories and strength in confronting enemies, the possibility to expand the Islamic revolution and to awaken the Muslims all over the world, as well as the idea of clash of civilizations and the Westerner’s concern about the Shiite’s victory in such a war. To confront this psychological phenomenon, the states, media and the elites of the Shiite societies must take effective measures to remove the consequences of this psychological invasion. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی علل شیعه‌هراسی و راهکارهای مقابله با آن انجام گرفت. پرسش اصلی این پژوهش این بود که «علل گسترش شیعه‌هراسی چیست و برای مقابله با آن چه راهکارهایی وجود دارد»؟ برای پاسخ به این پرسش، پژوهش حاضر با روش توصیفی ـ تبیینی انجام گرفت. بر اساس یافته‌های پژوهش، آغاز شیعه‌هراسی دشمنان اسلام، به زمان وقوع انقلاب اسلامی ایران برمی‌گردد و علل هراس آنان از شیعیان، فرهنگ غنی و پویای شیعه، موقعیت ژئوپلیتیکی شیعه، مطرح نمودن اندیشة خدامحوری در برابر انسان‌محوری غرب، پیروزی‌ها و توانمندی‌های شیعیان در برخورد با دشمنان، امکان صدور انقلاب و بیداری مسلمانان، همچنین مطرح شدن جنگ تمدن‌ها و نگرانی غرب از پیروزی شیعیان در این جنگ‌هاست. برای مقابله با این پدیدة روانی، باید دولت‌ها، رسانه‌ها و نخبگان جوامع شیعه، در جایگاه خود با اقدامات مؤثر، پیامدهای ناشی از این هجمة روانی را برطرف کنند. https://www.shiitestudies.com/article_242311_f87f0639a50f6037faf7af5344d28d89.pdf
